Solar Snap is a fast paced, strategy board game that can be played by 2-4 players. The aim of the game is to collect as many points as possible by creating chains of solar flares. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!

In Solar Snap, each player has a set of 9 pieces in either black or white. The pieces are placed on the intersections of the lines on the board, and must not cross over any other pieces.

A turn in Solar Snap consists of two parts; moving a piece, and then taking a snap shot.

To move a piece, choose one and drag it to an empty space. You can only move legal pieces, which means pieces that are not blocked by another piece, and are not on the edge of the board.

To take a snap shot, click on one of your pieces to select it, then click on an empty space on the board. This will create a solar flare chain between your selected piece and the empty space. The length of this chain determines how many points you score for that turn. If you want to add another flare to an existing chain, just click on an existing flare.

If one of your opponent's pieces is blocking your piece from moving, you can 'flare' them out of the way. Just select your piece and then click on your opponent's piece to execute the attack. If your attack is successful, your opponent's piece is removed from the board and you score 1 point for each space it occupied.

When all 9 of your pieces have been used up, you must end that turn even if you have not taken a snap shot yet. In this case, you will forfeit all points from that turn.

The game ends when either all players have no pieces left, or when somebody has reached 1000 points (or any other chosen target). The player with the most points at the end is the winner!
